What are my hobbies?
In the winters, I spend most of my spare time acting as president of the North Bay Snowmobilers Club and volunteer as an executive for the OFSC District II. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures. I also have a passion for learning new techniques and technology in dentistry. My other hobbies include kayaking/running, enjoying time at the lake, spending time with friends and sport shooting.
What is my professional journey?
I initially graduated from Toronto School of Business’ Dental Assisting program. Thereafter, I graduated from the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene’s Dental Hygiene program. Most recently, I obtained my qualifications from the University of Manitoba to practice as a Restorative Dental Hygienist. I have 25 years of experience in the dental field and counting.
Why did I choose to work in the dental field?
I was comfortable in the dental setting as a child. I was considering health care; nursing or dental assisting; but the dental field caught my eye.
Why did I choose to work at Lakeshore Dental Care?
When I moved to North Bay, I was recommended to apply to Lakeshore Dental Care for a dental hygiene position. I knew I liked Lakeshore Dental Care for the treatment care that patients received and how the team accepted me into the office. Additionally, when I was unable to work due to my mom being a missing person, they held my position knowing I was worth the wait.
My message to our patients: We take great pride in the high-quality dental care in a welcoming, all inclusive, fun and caring environment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring all patients feel comfortable, respected and confident in the care they receive. Your smile is our priority. We look forward to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy mouth.
